The father of Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, hopes that his daughter will be spared the cane if her case comes up for review. However he said he would accept any decisions made by the authorities.
Hmm...what did he mean by that...first he hope that his daughter will be spared the cane. A week before he was proud of her daughter willingness to be cane publicly. Seems to me that he was a looking for a pardon and publicity. In Malay newspaper Cosmo today, he claims that he is direct decendant of Ngah Ibrahim, a historical figire in Perak history, and claim that his great grandfather was a ruler in Perak, infact the first Emperor of Perak (Megat Terawis). How could this be, when his name is Shukarno, and her daughter name is Kartika. Even the first report in daily newspaper stating that Kartika Sari is an Indonesian working as a part time model in Singapore.? How confusing?
Is this an act for saving his dignity or looking publicity, as we know now CNN and other foreign media is trying to get their hands on the story. It became highly news value. To Shukarno Mutallib, just shut up, and let your daughter fates in the hands of the authorities, and stop giving such a nonsense statement that they are decendants of a once a great ruler in Perak History. Just Check out your name..Shukarno. Why dont your father put your name as Ngah Ibrahim IV or Megat Terawis Junior.
And to Kartika..your actions and statement is highly respected, but the more you release your statement, the more people sees that you are into something..maybe your career perhaps, from part time unknown model to Supermodel, as now all eyes in the world is looking at you.
