The course that I attended today, is all about keeping the environment and applying green working environment. The purpose also is to stop our reliance on foreign workers. All building materials, including slabs, hollow core slabs, which involve structural and other work will be coordinated and planned effectively. The total workers also is going to be reduced at site, only pro's and the skilled workers needed.
Our conventional methods in building industry always relied on workers at site, in which nowadays the Indonesians, Bangladeshi's, and several others foreign workers that monopolized the site. Our Malaysian skilled workers that being produced by CIDB Academy have not been in used. Most of the graduates work elsewhere or turnout to a factory workers instead.
This is one of the way our government to stop labor from other countries to come in and bring our money back to theirs in which being our main concern in terms of economy. However the funny part in all this mess is..when I visit the precast factory, mainly still the workers is Indonesian and Bangladeshi's that is doing all the precast.
Where is our skilled and Malaysian made workers...Something must be wrong somewhere!?
