Rummours has being spread around after Friday Prayers that the Sultan have gone ill and passed away at 2.30 pm...but it was only a speculation. People keep themselves aware of anything that might happen. Many of them was not concern about the Sultan's recovery but concern about the news whether the Sultan has already passed away and the results after that which is the declaration of Public Holiday..!! Funny as I can hear and see it, but that is the truth about the situation. People are looking forward for that particular PUBLIC HOLIDAY!!
I do learned something from this, peoples especially workers in private sectors is looking for a break..WHY? Because they need theirs...HOW? Did you notice that workers in private sectors are working like hell and being treated like a pig!! WHEN? Since 1981 workers in private sectors have been neglected by the government, and although the government have applied more flexible working hour and Saturday's day off, we in private sector have not received any benefits from that. Most of us still working on Saturday's in 8 hours..we are stress out, but none being look onto our sufferings. So when the Sultan passed away, they are or me also, thinking of at least 3 days off!! A paid day off!!
Even the next day on the 23rd of January 2010, I have to went for a training in Iskandar Development Office, which is located just near 100m away from the Castle. Either we are blind, or inconsiderate, or negligence,why in the hell should we attend a courses, when we should attend the rulers funeral. Are we blinded with greedy? money?
To whom it may concern, next time we should apply this...GIVE US A BREAK!!!
