Undang2?

Is the law in use is for us or for the government or for people who rules....I have been reading in the newspaper, last week about a guy who train athletes in shooting, was being apprehend by the police, because he shoots a thief.  I think this is an act of self defense, and yet he being remanded for a week. Is it justice...the thief was intended to robbed his house and he shoot that guy,,,for me it is rather cool...but the uncool is, he was in jail also for a week. 
But if a policeman, shoot a guy who is suspected to be a robber, or a criminal, we only questioned their action, but never we see them or heard they were apprehended in jail, or being judge in court.
Luckily for the guy who shoot the thief, he was released on probation maybe....but who will pay the 7 days of non working...he may have a bad record for something he protect which is noble....I dont know much about the law..but we make the law..we should change it...make it suitable for common people not for politicians...or capitalist...
One thing for sure..if the robber succeed to robbed the house...and the guy gave in...will the police or the justice willing to pay back his losses..the answer is HELL NO!! so what should we do..to fight or not to fight...
